I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree from Thomas Jefferson University. There, I focused on a systemic approach to therapy that allows me to examine the whole of people’s lived experiences, including past and present relationships, to see how they currently impact client’s mental health. I combine a macro approach, identifying larger values and goals, with a micro approach to help clients work on day-to-day habits and thoughts that might be preventing them from making changes.

I was trained in Systemic Sex Therapy while at Thomas Jefferson University. I use this training to help clients examine their sexual identities, issues and goals from a holistic and non-judgmental place. Engaging with clients in this way allows us to identify underlying causes to any sexual disfunction that may not have been clear earlier and explore what will and will not work moving forward. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and happy to work with monogamous or non-monogamous individuals and couples.

I am trauma informed, and I bring this lens into all of my therapeutic work. My style incorporates many modalities including Attachment Theory, Bowenian Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I believe in a creative approach to therapy, tailoring my therapeutic style to each client to meet their specific needs.

My specific interests include:

  • Mood disorders including depression and anxiety

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Life transitions

  • Communication issues

  • Negotiation of shared responsibilities/tasks

  • Sexual issues including desire discrepancy, pelvic pain, ED and PE
