As an individual, relationship, and family therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their unique challenges. My goal is to support my clients in forming healthy, fulfilling, compassionate, and understanding relationships. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive environment where all clients feel supported and heard.

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach, recognizing that each client is the expert in their own life. My educational background includes a degree from Thomas Jefferson University's Couples and Family Therapy program in Philadelphia, PA. During my time at Jefferson and at my internship at Council for Relationships, I had the privilege of working with a diverse population of clients.

I am passionate about fostering improvements in conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, and the necessity for boundary-setting. I also help clients recognize their needs and desires within their relationships, cope with life anxieties, navigate transitions, and tackle issues related to self-worth, body image, and religious, cultural, and medical challenges.

I am comfortable supporting high school students in their transition to college. I am dedicated to helping young adults navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that come with this pivotal life stage. I work with students to address anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, and the pressures of academic and social expectations.

My therapeutic practice is informed by several theories, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS, Parts Work), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

As a Mexican-American woman who grew up in the diverse community of Newark, New Jersey, I understand the crucial importance of mental health across all communities. I am committed to working with clients from all backgrounds and life stages. I am excited to support you on your therapeutic journey.
